2009年3月16日，几位北京的登山活动爱好者建立了绿洲户外网，它旨在为热爱户外运动、崇尚健康生活方式的朋友们提供一个开放的自助网络平台。
理念
绿洲户外的理念
绿洲户外网认为，户外运动根本上是开放、平等和包容的。在户外运动蓬勃开展的今天，我们要为规模日渐庞大的驴群提供一个富于人文关怀的郁郁芳草地。
提供服务
绿洲户外网为广大的驴友提供户外活动集结地与探讨区，以及二手装备交易等无偿服务。同时，提供一点儿淡淡的人文关怀，只因我们是有着相同追求的同类。每周发起北京周边的户外活动以及休闲腐败活动，提供原创的户外游记和照片讨论。
目的和意义
人活着是为了什么？
关于这个问题不同的人常常会提供不同的答案。但是，如果说人活着是为了幸福应该是没有人会反驳的。如此，我们把人活着的目的和意义定义为寻觅幸福。
那么，何处是幸福的绿洲？
财富、权力与名誉常常让人感觉幸福，但这种幸福是一种表象，它们常常来的并不单纯。相反，当我们行走在苍茫山野间的时候，望着那身旁的浮云，不禁感叹它们的美丽，而自己也因为这样的美丽而感受到单纯的幸福。由此，我们可以说获得幸福是简单的，或者说幸福在本质上是简单的。
在欧美已风行了数十年的户外运动就是一项带给人们这种单纯幸福的运动，而绿洲户外则专注于这种运动的供给，提升每一位参与者的幸福感。

In March 2009, some mountain lovers established the oasis outdoor network-http://www.lvzhou.info. It is designed for the friends whom love outdoor sports and advocating a healthy lifestyle to provide an open platform for self-help network.
The concept of the oasis outdoor sports
In the oasis outdoor sports’ view, outdoor sports are basically open, equal and harmonious. Flourishing today, we want to conduct a caring place for the growing size of a “donkey-friends” -nature lovers group.
What do the oasis outdoor sports do?
The Oasis Outdoor Network works on a pro bono basis where we can assemble the outdoor activities and a discussion area, as well as a Second-hand equipment market for the general “donkey-friends” group. At the same time, we provide a warm home for the wandering soul, just because we have the same pursuit.
